Owl Alert
This nice great horned owl came by for a visit the other day. He was about 20 feet high in the tree overlooking our yard and the neighbors. I alerted the next door neighbor to not let their little dog out.

About how big would you say he was? Did he stay very long?
He stayed there for 10-15 minutes and then we saw him fly off. He was very large and I think full grown. He could have been 22" tall. He was very impressive when he flew away. It was also fun watching him in the binoculars. The eyes were awesome and it was interesting watching him move his head from side to side. He also seemed as interested in us as we were in him.
